Bekannt geworden in Spanien, wo er mit dem AISGE Foundation und DantzaZ Residence Award ausgezeichnet wurde, kehrt der junge Wiener Choreograf Raphael Miro Holzer mit einer Auswahl seiner Arbeiten nach Österreich zurück. Kritiken beschreiben seine Arbeit in lobenden Tönen als Bewegungsmaterial, in dem Disziplin auf Narrenfreiheit trifft.

Der Abend im Posthof besteht aus Österreich-Premieren zweier bereits bekannter Stücke und wird mit der Uraufführung der jüngsten Produktion komplettiert:

remember to fall in love ist ein Musiktheater, das sich mit unserer Realität auseinandersetzt, indem es die Begriffe Tod und Liebe tänzerisch thematisiert. Das Stück wurde von der aktuellen Situation in Europa eingeholt und spiegelt den derzeitigen Zustand des Kontinents wider. Ein Stück als Dialog einer Welt in Schwierigkeiten.

Blaupause feierte Premiere im Rahmen der EU Mies Awards 2022 in Barcelona. Das Stück kombiniert barocke Tanzschritte mit akrobatischen Bewegungen, die gemeinsam architektonische Muster kreieren.

desire de paragüas ist die erste choreographische arbeit Raphael Miro Holzers. Uraufgeführt im Conde Duque Theater in Madrid 2021 ist das mehrfach preisgekrönte Stück nun zum ersten Mal auch in Österreich zu sehen. Es lädt die Zuschauer auf eine surreale Reise mehrer Tänzer*innen ein, die von einer möglichen Definition von Choreografie erzählt.

A selection of works by the choreographer Raphael Miro Holzer will be shown in Austria for the first time. Holzer has been the recipient of numerous awards throughout his time in Spain, including the AISGE Foundation and DantzaZ Residence Award. Critics praise his work as movement material where discipline meets fool's freedom. Holzer, who was born in Vienna, returns to Austria with this "Best-Of". The evening at Posthof consists of the Austrian premiere of two well-known pieces and will be completed with the world premiere of the latest production:

remember to fall in love A dance that deals with our reality by addressing the concepts of death and love through dance. The piece has been caught up in the current situation in Europe and reflects upon the current state of the continent.

Blaupause Celebrated its premiere at the EU Mies Awards 2022 in Barcelona. The piece combines baroque dance steps with acrobatic movements to form architectural patterns.

desire de paragüas is the first choreographic work by Raphael Miro Holzer. Premiered at the Conde Duque Theater in Madrid in 2021, the multi-award-winning piece can now also be seen in Austria for the first time. This piece invites viewers on a surreal journey of multiple dancers that depicts a possible definition of choreography.
